Myrtle & Main is an independent, locally focused publication for the Grand Strand. We’re interested in the businesses and people beyond the familiar vacation checklist, and in making it easier to enjoy the place around you.

Our patch includes Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island and Conway. Some readers live here. Some are planning a visit. Both deserve useful information and a reason to explore.

The free Friday morning letter brings together weekend plans, opening notes and local guides. The website is where those stories live when you want to come back to them.

A few things we care about.

We link our sources. We distinguish an announced opening from an open door. We don’t invent interviews, reviews or local characters. Our articles carry a team byline, and practical suggestions are identified as editorial advice.

Our images are real photographs of Grand Strand places and representative stock photos of food. They are not photographs of the businesses in our stories.
